Charles Rennie Mackintosh, creator of the Mackintosh Hill House chair

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was the forerunner of Art Nouveau. For him, architecture, furniture and interior design had to be in harmony. This is how he moved forward with his interior. After building his Hill House, he designed the interior architecture and designed his furniture, including the Mackintosh Hill House chair in 1902. The straight lined style and grid pattern of the Mackintosh Hill Head chair are distinctive of Mackintosh. Mackintosh had thought of an elaborate design. Indeed, the Mackintosh Hill House chair is composed of a very high, slightly curved back. The backrest of the Mackintosh Hill chair is produced in a ladder-like form, in a series of small squares. The Mackintosh Hill House chair is appreciated for its decorative value. The Hill chair was originally designed for a hilltop construction, but it will bring a gracious and elegant touch to your interior!

However, the elegance and particular design of Mackintosh marked the 19th century. Diiiz produced the Mackintosh Hill House chair with a black metal structure and a red leather cushion. The Hill House 1 chair is more than a simple functional chair, it is also a visual sculpture, a work of art!

To obtain a Mackintosh Hill House 1 chair is to obtain a functional chair and a work of art!

Mackintosh had imagined and thought of a design which borders on perfection! The Mackintosh Hill House 1 chair expresses itself through straight and stylish lines. The structure is in lacquered metal, with an expanded and padded polyurethane seat and an exceptional leather cover!

At 159cm in height, this chair is all vertical and holds a century of history. Indeed, Mackintosh created the Hill House chair for a dining room where the walls were white to bring out the stained wood furniture.

The Mackintosh Hill House 1 chair was inspired by Japanese design by abstract graphics. This Mackintosh chair succeeds in integrating symbolic and figurative values. Although it is a functional chair, it is also a chair with a thoughtful design. The Hill House 1 chairs are chairs that have characters and that will bring an artistic touch to your interior!
