Verner Panton was born in Copenhagen in 1926. Verner Panton  is well known for his unconventional style. Verner Panton  created objects with an innovative and futuristic design. He used plastic and bright colours and was attracted by wavy forms.

After studying architecture, Verner Panton  enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Verner Panton  worked with Arne Jacobsen, and participated in the creation of the famous Panton chair. In 1955, he ended his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen to set up his design studio.

In 1955, Verner Panton  ended his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen to set up his design studio.

In the late 1950s his chairs became less and less conventional; feet disappeared and back rests faded away.

In the 60s Panton experimented in the development of environments that could be described as psychedelic in colours and forms
